Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender buds
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices, for garnish

Recipe

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the dried lavender buds. Bring to a simmer over low heat, then remove from heat and let steep for about 10-15 minutes. Strain out the lavender buds and set the infused water aside.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the lavender-infused water and remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Mix well.
  4. Chill the lavender lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lavender lemonade over the ice.
  6. Garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!
