Raspberry Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh raspberries, for garnish

Recipe

  1. In a blender, puree the fresh raspberries until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the raspberry puree, fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cold water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Serve the raspberry lemonade over ice cubes.
  5. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries.
  6. Stir before serving, as the raspberry puree may settle.
